Julia Wood
Julia’s skills that I particularly value are:

Julia has valuable experience implementing a range of improvement methodologies and sustainability approaches. Julia has worked with secondary care, CCGs, community services, GP practices, social services, third sector organisations and universities.

David Ripper
David focuses on helping organisations to embed technology enabled change. He has over three decades of experience working in the private, public and third sectors, in the UK and abroad, delivering transformational change. His key skills include:
- Embedding the use of technology into the workplace
- Programme and project management
- Change management
Some of his career highlights include building a technology service and team from the ground up for a national UK health and social care charity with thousands of employees and hundreds of sites; helping to improve the software test process for a world leading software company; and helping a PLC with thousands of employees and hundreds of sites move their technology platform into the cloud to improve access for their staff and bring major efficiencies to their working practices.

Cheryl McKay
Cheryl’s skills that I particularly value are:

Cheryl is a highly experienced and skilled change and transformation specialist. She brings extensive strategic and operational experience, both as a senior nurse and as a leader of large scale change programmes to help organisations overcome structural, strategic and regulatory barriers to success.

Ruth James
Ruth’s skills that I particularly value are:
- Evaluating and improving safety culture
- Quality assurance, audit and risk management
- Patient experience measurement
Ruth has extensive experience of successful project delivery in the healthcare sector drawing on her experience as an executive director in a large NHS acute trust and a variety of operational and quality management roles.

Faye Hames
Faye’s skills that I particularly value are:
- Nursing leadership
- Service redesign
- Quality improvement
Faye has over 30 years NHS experience and extensive knowledge as a qualified nurse and leader. She has worked in multiple environments including Acute, Community, Voluntary, Charity, Commissioning and Primary Care. She developed and managed initiatives across End of Life Care, Frailty and Care Home. Faye is experienced in developing and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders and building multi-agency networks. She has the ability to positively influence the change that the NHS is going through and holds a core belief that the only way to get good outcomes for patients is to get closer to local services to understand how they are delivered and to identify improvements.

Mark Fletcher
Mark’s skills that I particularly value are:
- Quality governance and audit
- Leadership and board development
- Corporate governance
Mark was the northern regional director of the Audit Commission from 2007 to 2012 and leader of its health practice. He was also lead partner for health consultancy at a major accountancy firm, specialising in governance, especially assessments of trusts, including those planning major changes such as mergers and takeovers. Since retiring from the firm, he has done consultancy in primary care, particularly in respect of quality governance.

cath laverty
Cath’s areas of knowledge and experience that I particularly value are:
- Mental Health
- Leadership
- Operational Management
Cath led an innovative multi-disciplinary team working with homeless people. She led the development of a co-produced strategy to support this area of the community. She played a key role in the development of Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) in Manchester serving as a Nurse Board Member and Professional Executive Committee Member. Cath led the development of a city-wide Primary Care Mental Health service and was the PCT Mental Health Commissioning Lead for the area. Cath holds an MA in Health Services Management at Manchester University, together with additional qualifications in the care of mentally ill people in the community. Currently, Cath is involved in the development and delivery of national training and wellbeing programmes for primary care staff.

Meryl Parker
Meryl has over 30 years’ experience in healthcare primarily in clinical, managerial and quality improvement roles. She has spent the last 8 years delivering QI programmes for primary care, working towards making General Practice more efficient, effective, and a better place to work.
Her core skills include:
- Change management.
- Managing teams.
- Training/coaching teams in NHS programmes.
- Delivering QI programmes.
- Developing, reading and assessing QI feedback reports.
Meryl enjoys collaborating with teams at all levels. She has a genuine understanding of the stresses within the NHS and is really motivated to make life better for both the patients and the people who work there.
